IFM MANNHEIM was founded in 1949 as the first institute for psychological market research in Germany in connection with the University of Mannheim which was at the time the business school.
We introduced the term "Marktpsychologie" in 1960 to describe our area of activity.
Using qualitative and quantitative methods, we bring facts and figures to life. We demonstrate what they mean for marketing and communication, as well as how they influence and affect commercial success.
In 1967 we opened the first test studio in Mannheim. Our test studio is located in the pedestrian zone within the Rhein-Neckar area which houses 2.3 million inhabitants.
