IFM MANNHEIM was founded in 1949 as the first institute for psychological market research in Mannheim in connection with what was then the business school and today is the University of Mannheim.
We introduced the term "Marktpsychologie" in 1960 to describe our area of activity.
Using qualitative and quantitative methods, we deliver more than just facts and figures. We demonstrate what they mean for marketing and communication, as well as how they influence and affect commercial success.
In 1967 we opened the first test studio in Mannheim. It is located in the pedestrian zone and within the Rhein-Neckar area with 2.8 million inhabitants.
